Sizing/Care Instructions
and Misc Info
Sizing
RINGS: If ordering a ring please be sure of your size! The size you give me is the size I make it!
If you don’t know what size you need, I recommend getting sized by a local professional jeweler. The work I do cannot easily be changed once the stone is set into place. Some rings, depending on the style, can be sized up 1/4 of a size but they cannot be sized down.

CUFFS: If you are interested in one of my thick scenic cuffs, please message me so we can get the right size for you! Because of the scenic designs I create on them, it is important to measure the correct part of your wrist as these cuff bracelets cannot be shortened.

Jewelry Care
Each order I send out comes with a polishing cloth and care instructions for your jewelry. Please read over them and handle your jewelry with care. One should avoid obvious lotions, rock climbing, deep sea diving, and alligator wrestling while wearing jewelry. They are all made with so much love and should be treated as such. I do offer free polishing on any of my jewelry. Just ship it to me I'll spruce it up and ship it right back to you.
What is .925 Silver vs
Sterling Silver?
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% of other metals, usually copper. I mark all my sterling silver jewelry either .925 or with my makers mark, depending on the size of the jewelry piece.
Sterling Silver and .925 Silver is exactly the same. It is harder than fine pure silver (.999) so it’s wonderful for jewelry making. Sterling silver does tarnish over time if not properly maintained and can be damaged or dented.

Meaning of the Shark
In Hawai'i sharks are worshipped, cared for, and protected as an 'aumakua, or an ancestral spirit guardian. Often family deities were believed to watch over their families and hear their words, give them strength and guidance, warn them of misfortune or danger and pass on prayers from the living to the akua (gods). My family aumakua is the Mano or Shark.
